Saharan camel rides, desert stargazing, and medina meandering in Morocco
Morocco is arguably the most romantic country in Africa – with its ancient trading cities, Saharan desert landscape and fusion of cultural influences. This epic 11-day adventure gives you a taste of all of this and more, starting in the iconic city of Casablanca with a tour of its architecture and cultural hothouses. From here, it’s on to the striking blue streets on Chefchaouen and the ancient medina of Fes, followed by a night sleeping beneath the stars in a Berber tent in the Sahara desert. Having wine tasting and stargazing around the campfire, plus a special sunrise camel ride, you’ll end up into the Atlas Mountains to lunch with locals and trek epic gorges. Your adventure concludes in Marrakech, with a feast of authentic Moroccan food, firstly on a street food tour of the old medina, and later on an authentic cooking class in the heart of the city.
